Action Mats are ideal for soaking up contaminants such as hydraulic fluid, coolant, water, condensation, oils, and solvents.
  • Constructed with highly-absorbent cotton yarn (20 ounces/yard2)
  • Nitrile rubber backing and borders provide excellent slip-resistance and are grease/oil proof
  • Commercially launderable
  • Available with choice of 52-mil, 65-mil, or 90-mil rubber with smooth, universal cleated, or full cleated backing

Designed to soak up contaminants and provide extra traction, Actions mats are ideal for use in auto, construction, and other industrial environments where hydraulic fluid, coolant, water, oils, and solvents are present.

Please note, mat sizes are approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time. Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.

BACKING
Material: Nitrile rubber (smooth, universal cleated, or CleatsPlus)
Thickness:
     Standard 52-mil rubber (body thickness 52-mil; border thickness 94-mil)
     Medium duty 65-mil rubber (body thickness 65-mil; border thickness 107-mil)
     Heavy duty 90-mil (body thickness 90 mil; border thickness 90-mil)

Action mats can be cleaned using the instructions below:

  • Hose off as necessary
  • Extract or hose off as needed to remove heavy soil/debris
  • Hang mat to dry

Always make sure the mat is dry before placing it back in service.

Please remember that oil and solvent-soaked textiles should always be stored and disposed of according to your local governing regulations. This also includes disposal of oil and solvent residue removed from these textiles.  Please consult your local regulations for specific details.

Action Mats can be commercially laundered periodically to remove grease, oil, and dirt.  Depending on the type and quantity of soil, it may be necessary to adjust the formula shown below to increase break time, temperature, and number of rinses to achieve desired results.

To prevent pilling on other mats, Action Mats should not be washed with mats made of nylon or other synthetic carpet yarns.

  1. Flush 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  2. Optional Flush 2-3 minutes, medium water level, 120 degrees F  (49 degrees C)
  3. Break 5-10 minutes, high water level, 120 degrees F (49 degrees C)
  4. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  5. Rinse 2 minutes, high water level, cold
  6. Extract at low speed for 1-2 minutes
  7. Shake out (rotate wheel at wash speed with drain open) for 1 minute
  8. Extract at high speed (250 Gs) for 3-5 minutes
  9. Dry 15-30 minutes, 180 degrees F (82 degrees C) basket temp
  10. Cool down 5 minutes

Insure mats are thoroughly dried to prevent mildew from forming in the cotton yarn.
