An Update for M+A Customers

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to rapidly evolve, we felt it necessary to reach out and echo many of the sentiments you have undoubtedly heard from other businesses dealing with these unprecedented events.   Ensuring the health and safety of our employees, their families and our customers remains our number one priority.  We are closely monitoring the guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the spread and containment of this virus.

All our manufacturing plants remain fully operational and stand ready to help support our customers’ needs.  Should any one of our three mat manufacturing plants be affected, much of that plant’s production can be supported by the other two plants with limited interruption.

On Monday, March 9, we initiated restrictions on non-essential visitors to our facilities.  We also moved all our employees that could effectively work from home to begin doing so until further notice.  Additionally, we have stopped all business travel and encouraged employees to leverage our technology-based tools needed to conduct business activities.  Additional support and training have been provided to those employees whose physical presence is necessary at our plants for production and service.

While difficult to see in the immediacy of this crisis, there will be long term benefits that come from this experience.  Global hygiene standards will improve as a result of this virus – we believe our mats play a critical role in helping facilities remain safer, cleaner, and more comfortable.    Times like these force people and businesses from all over the world to unite behind a common purpose.  We will remain committed to do our part.
